Good question! Mike is an IT Manager for a Fortune 100 company managing IT Services for a Division comprised of 8,000 employees with a contract value of $2 billion. He has been in the workforce, at various levels, for many years and has experience with hiring, firing, layoffs, failures and success.
Mike started his IT career in tech support and has moved up the ladder to his current position. His career has taken him from "industry", consulting, commercial, government front-line projects and now back in corporate. He has also directly experienced the bitter pill of layoffs...so he knows how it feels. He has also witnessed friends and family enduring their layoffs as well and has seen first-hand the toll layoffs can take on people...some take it in stride while others fall hard. His goal is to provide helpful guidance during this difficult time.
